Happy New Year!

Wow! The new year is here. In fact, a whole new decade is here. It seems like only yesterday when we were waiting for all the computers to crash and the lights to go out when we began this new millenium. That was ten years ago! We must have been having fun because time has certainly flown.

I hope you enjoyed a safe and happy New Year and that you’re enjoying a peaceful, restful holiday. I’m busy today making lists and reveling in the clean slate that is 2010. Oh, the possibilities of a brand new year!

Obviously, I’m feeling reflective today, and if you are too, I’d love to know: What are you looking forward most to in 2010?

What Are Your Favorite Holiday Movies?

I loved reading all of your slow-down ideas from our last giveaway, and it got me to thinking. One of my favorite slow-down activities to do during the holidays is to sit next to a roaring fire and watch a holiday movie. What’s on my must-see holiday movie list each year? It just wouldn’t be the holiday season without these:

Show Off Your Halloween Style and Save!

I love, love, loooove to see all the wonderful ways people decorate their homes for Halloween. There seems to be no end to the creativity conjured up for this spellbinding holiday.

So, obviously I was excited then when I received an email this week from one of our customers and readers, Danielle. She sent me some photos of her Halloween decor, which happens to include several of our decorative pieces. I asked if I could feature them here, to give you an idea of how easily our gifts can be incorporated into your own decorations.

Five of the decorative pieces here are from Mrs. Fields Gifts. FIVE! I think they look amazing, don’t you? Our cookie jars, decorative tins, and ceramic bowls are part of Danielle’s annual decorations and have become keepsakes. I’ve got to be honest here, I feel like a proud parent. Does that make me weird? Actually, don’t answer that.
