Halloween Totes: Three Times the Fun!

By Mrs. Fields

I’ve asked Ronnie Kell, our Creative and Merchandising Director, to share some of his custom-designed gifts from the new catalog. Today we’re featuring one of his (and my!) favorites. Plus, we’re giving some away!  From Ronnie:

Hey, y’all! Halloween is right around the corner for you, but (believe it or not) I’ve been working on it for an entire year! Here’s a peek at one of my favorite items I designed for the fall catalog that hit mailboxes last week.

After traveling the world last year, I realized that “monsters” would be a big theme for the upcoming season.  I wanted to bring my own flavor to this theme, so I worked to design something with real energy and life for our fall catalog. I came up with these adorable monster totes featuring Whacky Jack, Bonkers Bat, and Freaky Frankie

Designing them was so much fun; they really took on a personality all their own! For me, it was all about getting the eyes just right. The end result is a keepsake that will thrill girls or boys (or anybody who is young-at-heart) for years to come!

In fact, I’ve already arranged to send one to each of my nieces and nephews: Costa, Remy, Ryder, Chapman, Blake, Alexander, Isabel, and Elijah. It will be a fun surprise from Uncle RoRo. (I hope they’re not reading this!) Plus, the little ones can use them for trick-or-treating on Halloween night.

The totes are sold individually, or in a set of three for additional savings. Check out the rest of our Halloween collection here.   And if you don’t already receive our catalog, request one here

Giveaway! Help us solve a dispute—we can’t decide which of these three monsters is our favorite.  Leave a comment and answer this question: Which tote is your favorite and why?  Three lucky winners will be selected to receive their choice!

(Comments must be received before midnight, September 28.  Winner will be chosen by random selection.  One entry per person.)

Well you can tell Ronnie’s from down south “yall”. I personally like Bonkers Bat – all I can say is that it has something to do with how the eyes tie in with the name. Ronnie will know what I mean.

My favorite is “Freaky Frankie”, love the color and his face expression! The lil’ scar in the left side of his face gives it a nice monster touch…great design.

I think they are all cute, but considering I graduated from a high school nicknamed Halloween High, and went to a 2 year college with the same colors.I am partial to the pumpkin, since our school colors were orange, black and white.

I like the Bonkers Bat. The orange pops out more making it eye catching.

“RORO’s” trio is a delight.

Having to choose is a problem but I vote for WACKY JACK as it seems he is having an identity crisis; ears on a pumpkin…?

I LOVE all 3 of them…they are SO CUTE! But if I really have to choose just one, then I’ll go with Bonkers Bat. I think the wings on the side gives it a little more umph…and character.

After looking at all 3 I like Freaky Frankie the best. I don’t like Whacky Jack because it looks like he has bunny ears. The bat is ok. I like Freaky Frankie because he is a monster but yet not a scary one here. The green color is smooth, My almost 5 year old likes Whacky Jack.

I would have to say the Bat! Because aren’t we all a little Batty for your cookies? {Yes, I know, pretty bad, but your cookies are so good!} ;)

The goulish pumpkin because it is a symbol of fall as well as the Halloween season. And my family loves it as well.

My favorite is the pumpkin one, because every year since I was in elementary school, my mom never let me carve my own pumpkin because she thought it was too messy. And now, even though I’m in college and live far away from home, I still don’t carve my own pumpkins because I think they are too messy to deal with now. So a fake pumpkin would make all my dreams come true!

My favorite is the pumpkin. Just for the fact that it is not scary. It reminds me of something that my children and I make around Halloween. It is very inviting and brings back happy memories.
The other characters are nice, not too scary but can be when viewed by the very young. They bring back the scary memories of monsters and frightening people but the pumpkin is wholesome family fun.

Love them all, but the bat would be my #1 – the black and orange are perfect colors to make it “Halloweeny”!

Naturally my kitty cat Bonkers picked Bonkers Bat. She was quite impressed with the name as we all were. They are all adorable, but Bonkers Bat received all the votes!!

THose are very cute bags. My favorite and I’m sure many of the kids favorite is Whacky Jack. Those front teeth makes him look like Spongebob!

I think that Bonkers Bat is the best. Bonkers is more unique because of its wings. It is also nice that it comes with a matching bat cookie inside. There is nothing spookier than the sound of bats on a cool fall night. You found a way to make bats fun. This is too cute. Most young kids would be a able to identify this one right from the start. The google eyes are perfect!

I like the Bat ! We’re always Batin around anyway, dayin and dayout. Just batin around, and it seems as though we’re going in circles just as a bat in real life. So do choose the Bat, So we can continue Bat around. Oh I need to run and get the Cookies out of the oven now! Bye
